Behind the Camera

Elias Films is built around one simple idea: shoot like an editor. I create affordable, polished video and photo work for weddings, events, dancers, artists, and small businesses — filmed with the final story in mind from the very beginning.

Not Just Pretty Clips

My background is in professional video editing, which shapes the way I shoot. I’m always thinking about pacing, movement, music, transitions, emotion, and how the final piece will come together.

Instead of just showing up and collecting random footage, I approach every project with the edit in mind. That means I’m looking for the small moments, the clean angles, the energy, the details, and the shots that will actually matter once everything is put together.

  • Short emotional highlight films for couples who want a simple keepsake.

  • Recaps built around movement, rhythm, energy, and atmosphere.

  • Promo videos and portraits for dancers, performers, musicians, and creators.

  • Short-form content that feels polished, useful, and ready to post.

What I’ve Shot

I’ve filmed weddings, shot video and photo for large dance battles, created dance photography, done portrait sessions, and spent years developing my eye through nature and landscape work.

Movement, Outdoors, and Storytelling

Movement has always been a big part of my life. I’m a competitive dancer, mainly in breaking and animation, and I’ve also spent time in martial arts, parkour, and other movement-based training. That background helps me film dancers and performers with a better sense of timing, rhythm, energy, and the small details that make a moment hit.

Outside of movement, I’m drawn to landscapes and the outdoors. Landscape photography has taught me how to pay attention to light, space, composition, texture, and atmosphere — the things that make a shot feel intentional instead of random.

Long before Elias Films, I was the kid making home videos and editing projects just because I loved it. That same love for storytelling is still at the center of what I do: capturing real moments and shaping them into something clean, cinematic, and worth watching.

That mix of movement, light, and editing is what shapes Elias Films: videos and photos that feel energetic, intentional, and built around the final story.
